A nice outing with the boys

Hi all, went out detecting with the Gully hunter, the smiling assassin, and morris, also brians friend from NSW turned up, nice to meet you chris. The gully hunter was on fire and pinged 3 nugs for 7.3 grams, brian got a 1816 silver coin, Morris got 2 nugs and I managed 5 for .93 grams. we also ran into Bill pinging some nice small gold, but Glen was the show stopper, it was great watching him in action, sweet as bro.

These are my 3 for 7.34 grams .. the bigger one broke in half when un earthing it .

Hi All,

I have recently got back from my first trip to the Golden Triangle. I had a great time and also found some colour. Three pieces, 0.9 grams, 0.5 grams and 0.2 grams.



The 0.5 grammer was my best technical find, being approx 10 inches deep.

The 0.9 grammer was found on top of slate in a hole previously dug but abandoned by a prior prospector.

The 0.2 grammer was on a track surface amongst slate fragments. I just had to swing over it.
