Hi blackbutt...I have used used a MINELAB EUREKA and found gold with it..along with a lot of bullet heads and a few old coins. Smile
Even in hot ground it is quite usable once you learn what sounds different targets make.
Will pick up very small targets as well as the lusted after big stuff.
Good battery life and light to swing....doesn't have the depth of the newer PI machines but also doesn't cost an arm and a leg to buy.
They go for $700-$850Aus on Ebay in Australia and around $600USD on Ebay in the US.
