Hi Kiloz.The best nugget I've ever detected came from Scotchmans Gully in Whroo.It was a beautiful solid piece of 5.6 grams.

Kiloz,i was lucky enough to find an 11 gr. against the long drop toilets where they made the roundabout around the toilets.Checked the holes near the fake puddler but don't remember finding much,maybe one small bit. Rwork

Kiloz some parts of Whroo are covered under the Historical Parks and that means on detecting. But I have detected outside the park area, found no gold but a nice Chinese coin though. It is a very interesting area and it has a lot of ground to work. So go for it and good luck, mate Wink

I dont know about gold but way back in the seventies i had some hot lead thrown at me at high speed.
