Maryborough finds Empty Maryborough finds

Post  TheGoldenChild Sun Mar 13, 2011 4:45 pm

Found a small patch, which produced 8 nuggets (6 Grams) in about a 20 metre radius, just outside Maryborough. And if you thought big coils don't pick up small stuff all nuggets found with my 18" NF Advantage coil.
Pity the rain started and ended my day early.

I was also lucky enough to have a 4 ounce nugget placed in my hand from one of the locals...what a feeling. Where's the camera when you need it. Found recently with a SD2200.

Thanks stoppsy, was on a roll til the rain..oh well next time, it aint going nowhere.
Shelby23 it has been a while since the fires and its all grown back, its more like finding ground you can swing a big coil in rather than new ground.

Well done!! Some nice nuggets there, it also gives one confidence while swinging a larger coil around.

Cheers

Thanks Guys, Danny all with the 18" mate. Goes to show its an excellent all round coil for big and small stuff and I would only swap it out for a smaller coil when there is no room to swing a bigger coil.

Magnificent work TGC..... 6 Grams and hopefully a few more... Very Happy
p.s I wouldn't swap your 18" for a small coil. There'll always be room to swing it. Great coil...
cheers goldenbrown...
