Global warming & Job Losses

Okay let's see:
If we closed down Australian coal, oil and Gas industry, metal mining and Fracking Industry and went all Electric vehicles we would reduce our atmospheric pollution from almost nothing to zero at the loss of approx 150, 000 jobs directly related to those industries and then of course there will hundreds of thousands of jobs indirectly related to those industries plus what would we make our roads out of?

Then after we have collapsed as a viable country and a natural disaster caused Australia to sink into the sea (Like totally gone man) there would be zero measurable change to the total global pollution levels and on top of all of that, even if all the land masses sticking above the sea suddenly sank into the ocean then yes the pollution levels would go down somewhat...But! Global Warming will still take place no matter what happens at the surface of this planet. .

If we closed down China, India, Europe  and USA coal, oil and Gas industry, metal mining and Fracking Industry and went all Electric vehicles we would reduce our atmospheric pollution a lot more, and the rest of us can follow suit when they have done it.

You just don't close down all Australian coal, gas & oil without having factored in other tried & proven to work technology, in order to sustain our way of living. Change from what fossil fuels we use today, to that of using something else in order to sustain man in a similar manner, comes through the positive implementation of technological advancements over time.
Yes, I agree, global warming will still take place no matter what man does but, the sooner man wakes up & takes some form of action towards reducing the effects of pollution we currently emit in the atmosphere, as well as in our oceans, the sooner we can bring back some form of sustainable stability to the worlds atmosphere, in the hope of reducing natures destructive events, that we're currently experiencing globally.
Global Warming might take place with us or without us (as been reported to do so on several occasions throughout history), but if we don't make a start cleaning up our own mess now & continue to pollute the atmosphere & ocean's at the rate & in the manner that we do so, there certainly can't be any good to come from it.  
Simply put, man can't keep polluting the planet at the rate we're polluting it at, for nature will find a way of striking back & with a vengeance we may never forget.

Some results from all the above in Australia:

Zero tourist industry, Less road travel due to too long waiting for your car battery to recharge, Recharge stations will have to supply overnight accommodation and meals. Enormous increase in homeless people (Housing affordability  will be for the rich only),Massive increase in transport costs.
   Electricity prices tripling in the next 30 years. Battery power, wind farm power, solar power costs beyond what normal people will be able to afford, Huge reduction in our primary & secondary industry  production capability. Almost total dependence on imports...The cost of which will be enormous.
    People will be forced to accept  a much lower living standard due to building and material costs and The clothing industry will not be able to manufacture from petroleum based synthetic products anymore ,almost all of our clothing is synthetic and petroleum based.
   International travel will be close to non existent ( ships planes  and trains will be mothballed because the oil,petrol and gas industries will have collapsed).

Off course if we go to Nuclear power most of this will not happen.  
     Do I believe all of this will happen, who knows??....But if it will get ole Reg riled up I will have succeeded in my mission.

If we closed down China, India and Europe almost all of the worlds atmospheric and land based garbage would disappear.
