Any one venturing out into the WA goldfields this season be sure to bring a muzzle for your furry family member.
Extensive aerial 1080 baiting is currently in progress to try and reduce the number of wild dogs, these baits don't differentiate between wild & domestic.

I notice too that some idiot has put baits around Malcolm Dam east of Leonora & the police are seeking info on the culprit.
There has been one dog fatality already.

seeing how there is only a few people that can legally purchase the baits it shouldn't be too hard for the police to track them down....actually pretty easy really. Malcolm dam is different but dogs on pastoral leases are a very bad idea.
