Market Stall

Central Goldfield Branch of the PMAV is having an information and recruitment stall at the Maryborough Market tomorrow (Sunday) The market is held every forth Sunday of each month on the lawns of the Maryborough Railway Station near Mac's. Starts at 8.30am until 2.00pm. If you are up this way drop in and say "Hi". Look for the Eureka Flag.
The Branch is hoping to do this on a regular basic.

The Central Goldfield Branch had their very 1st information and recruitment day held at our local Maryborough Market. And what a great and very successful day it was. We were inundated with people wanting to know about gold, gold prospecting, or just wanting to talk detectors and how to use them properly. Our nugget display was a great hit for the young and old a like. We had a chance to speak to people also about the PMAV and what they do for prospectors and prospecting in general. And what could be happening to prospecting in the area to the extent that we signed up 3 new members and may have about another 4 to 5 possible new members coming on board. This was such a great success that we are differently going to do it again next month.
I would like to thank Jim Wright, Mark Askham, Phil Whiddon, Peter Crook and Robert Meadows. If it was not for these people contributing on the day I don't think it would have been such a great success. Thanks Guys, job well done.
