The Final Total for Peter Mac.

It gives me great pleasure in announcing our final figure that was raised at this year's Gold Bash for Peter Mac.
After expenses (which this year was quite a few) we will be able to hand over $17,769.24.
I would like to thank our sponsors. Without them and their very kind donations we would not have a Bash. I would also like to thank my Committee. They worked tirelessly to get the Bash up and running. Thanks Guys & Gals "Well done." Last but not least I would like to thank everyone for coming and making this a every enjoyable event. This year being my last year as a organizer of the Bash, has made me proud and I feel that I have left on a high. I know that I have left the Bash in very good hands.

Next year I'm sure it will be bigger and better again as I know that ALL the cabins at the Park have already been booked.

It was great to be part of it. With over 330 attendees someone made the observation that it's the largest gathering of prospectors in Australia.

Just to clarify Bill's comment about having more expenses this year - the Committee responded to requests to have some merchandise with the Bash logo on it and had caps, mugs etc made up. Because of the nature of the accounts, the full total cost of the items "hits the bottom line" straight away even though the items will sell (at a small profit) over several years. We were fortunate that through one of the Committee member's contacts we received a great price and that the Park advanced the full cost (over $3,600) which had to be paid prior to the Bash. Please use and abuse anything you bought so that you buy it all again next year!

No, completely independent so an even greater contribution from the prospecting community to Peter Mac!

The backhoe & team raised $5215.. ( i think that figure is right )
