Battery usage

Gday Folks, Just some battery info.
A few days ago I detected for 9 hours in the day, and about 5 of those hours the backlight was on (mistake). Battery icon was in the red by the end of the day. Went to sleep, woke up at 6:30 am and realised i hadn't charged my battery!! So i got up and connected the charger directly to the car battery with the alligator clips. I only charged it for 2 hours, and i still got over 8 hours detecting with it that day and it still didn't go flat. It was in the red though. I was very impressed. Hope you find this useful.
