New to GPX 5000
Hi all just picked up a new gpx 5000 Im also new to prospecting want to head back home to WA soon for a look around near Wiluna, but before I go want to head up near Hill End to get to know the machine, any good places around there that I can go? Hill End itself there are historic posts everywhere meaning you cant go anywhere near the town from what I can gather.
Plus what coil is best to use for around that area out of the box and setting wise would I use standard settings thanks in advance.

Re: New to GPX 5000
G'day Dave and welcome to the forum. As I am not from the NSW area I'm not sure about the Hill end area, but with coils on the 5000 you can't go wrong with 11" Comander mono coil that came with your detector. This coil is very sensitive to small gold in the fine gold settings and once you get used to your detector you could start looking at the larger coils.... Hope this helps you some.
