need some opinions and help please

im currently using Coiltek 14x9 Elliptical GOLDSTALKER Mono Coil on my 4500 its an awesome coil but was just looking at getting the larger
Coiltek 18" x 12" Elliptical GOLDSTALKER Mono Coil for some extra depth in certain areas, and was wondering if anyone out there uses it.

G'day sivart. A mate of mine and myself were using them on the 4000 & 4500s when they first appeared on the market some years back.Like their sibling brother(14x9) their a good coil for the intermediate to larger size slugs of gold at greater depths than the 14x9.From my personal experience,nuggets would have to be say 5 grams and above in size to notice any significant,in ground depth advantages over the 14x9.
Once again I must state that regardless of type/size coil being used,several other factors contribute to whether or not a positive target will be picked up at a certain depth,such that of the degree of mineralization present to mention but one.

I have owned both, I sold both because I wasn't gold prospecting for a long time. The 18 x 12 is one coil I wouldn't mind owning again, exellent coil. I say go for it.
