G'day! I have just joined and would appreciate hearing from anyone else in the Taree area. I'm new to detecting but am interested in exploring more and would like a mate to go tripping with. Can get away on trips no problem.

Thanks for the encouragement Phil. I've just got back home after a fortnight poking around Windeyer and Hill End with my new GPX 5000 which I purchased at the Windeyer Field Day. Now I've got more headaches than a packet of Bex Powders. Got nothing exciting to report except finding an 1867 penny, with a lot of help from some great blokes from the Dubbo Club.

The machine is an ends to a means, to enjoy and experience in different ways. I hate golf but like detecting. Research your local area and the finds will come.
