G'day folks! I live in TAREE NSW and like to get into the outdoors at any opportunity. I've been playing around the beaches with a 'Gold Snoop Pro' detector and have found dozens of bottle tops, and hair pins, but only $12.00 in coins. Only benefit I've had is being able to buy some "hot chips" from the beach kiosk with my "finds" after a hard day slogging it out in the sand. I want to learn more about detecting in the bush and to advance to a bigger detector. Retired (65yrs old) and can travel anywhere in Australia to camp and look for gold. Have read a post from "Tubby" in the Taree area back in 2011, would love to make contact with Tubby or anyone else on the Mid North Coast.
