Went to Supercheap, was told they no longer stock it.
Went on the net and BCF (boating camping and fishing) were listed as a supplier.

Just got back from their store near Port Adelaide, they had a shelf full of the stuff.

Most cleaning chemical companies I'm sure would keep this or similar compounds for cleaning aluminium and stainless steel ,I'm sure I was able to buy it in 20 l containers years ago

We used a lot aluminium brightener in the boating game over west, even our on shelf price was less than 10 bucks for 4 litres, hmm 15 years ago!!
the main ingredients were Methyl ethyl ketone peroxide! why I remember that I have no idea

P.s. Don't water your pot plants with this stuff? woofó, up in flames in about 10 minutes woops

Batch Chemicals in Melbourne carry it, we use it at our work as an aluminium cleaner/acid. Ask for Brendan at Batch.
Comes in 5lt containers, and yes most cleaning chemical supply companies will have it also.

Super cheap had ali Brite in kangaroo flat (bendigo) today for 15 pesos per l walk down the aisle towards the information desk at rear of store and its on the end of the aisle on your right just near the desk
