hi all,

Thought it about time I said "Hello!". Been reading this forum over the last few weeks and found it a great source of information and good reading.

My first metal detector was one frrom Skinnies?(For those old enough to remember the store chain, they sold sheep skin/leather products in the late 70's/early 80's).
I used it all the time as a kid when we went to the beach.

A mate a work, malb, got my interest up again, so I decided to purchase an old fortune 8000 on ebay from BendigoGold.
Will see how it goes this xmas holidays when I end up at Kiama for a few days.
