just do some research first, buy a map, check the weather conditions etc
n remember the ground is different every day using a detector!.... one day nothing, the next day a lil nugget???
i even detected the same area, the same place, the same coil, with same machine n i still find new nuggets... it happens...

There is one big Victorian producer goldfield from the mid/late 1800's actually missing from your list, for which I'm grateful, as I go there often and invariably never meet a sole, little lone another prospector....I was there again today, and in school holidays I only saw a couple of trail bikes, and not a single detectorist and more importantly not a single fresh dig mark apart from my own which of course I fill and cover..........research is the key, gained from late 1800's gold reports published on Adelaide Share registers, in the daily press at that time.....I do live in apprehension in case a question about it shows up on this site...never to date....peace perfect peace....  .Hoo Roo.
