Minelab CTX 3030 Price Release! Empty Re: Minelab CTX 3030 Price Release!

Overpriced *******. Useless as all coin machines for gold. A Fisher F5 will find just as much coins and jewellery for around $600.00 and is just as hopeless on gold. Anyone thinking of spending this kind of money on a gold detector can buy a Minelab Sd2200 and three different sized DD coils, and seriously go after gold. Totally overpriced ********* from Minelab as usual. I just hope you dealers aren't selling them as gold detectors to newbies as you know they won't penetrate our mineralised soils, that would be totally unethical and you know it! Sick of all the hype. What's that? It's waterproof to ten feet? Well bugger me backwards! You can buy a Fisher CZ21 for $1300 and take it down to 250 feet! $2700.00 what a ****!

Minelab CTX 3030 Price Release! Empty Re: Minelab CTX 3030 Price Release!

Hey folks, Smile After carefull analysis of your subtle criticism my astute perception leads me to believe you may not be a fan of the CTX3030 Shiraz? lol! Has this machine been given time on the field to prove itself or is it that obvious on specs alone it will not perform on gold ground as you say? does it have any place in the gold seekers arsenal?
Regards
Wayne. cheers

Hmm, very perceptive Diggenerup. It's a coin machine, no matter how many bells and whistles minelab attaches to it, it's just a coin machine.

Minelab CTX 3030 Price Release! Empty Re: Minelab CTX 3030 Price Release!

Hi Dave,

Just had a report from a client of mine today. His dad who lives down South West Vic purchased his 3030 a couple of weeks ago and it has already paid for itself. The beach he has been detecting has opened up and delivered to him and his CTX 3030 gold and diamond rings exceeding the value of his purchase.
This old guy is a seasoned prospector and treasure hunter and he told his son " It is the best treasure / relic detector he has ever owned ". I asked his son how many detectors he has had and the reply was more than 2 handfulls.

Just thought you would like to know

Thanks for the feedback Peter. I've been out with the CTX 3030 a couple of times and have found a half penny and a sixpence in minerialised soil around Bendigo. It was also interesting that I was able to detect some flat lead at excellent depth. With the CTX 3030 having a manual ground balance I think it's going to be worth trying the unit on gold in trash laden areas. As soon as I've had time to test this I'll let you know what I think.

Most of the customers who have purchased this unit are making similar comments to the one you have posted, it really is the most advanced coin and treasure machine available.

Hi golddiggerdave, just like to know how you're going with the 3030 in the goldfields. I'm considering buying one but need info from someone using one in the goldfields.
Your feedback would be appreciated.
cheers goldenbrown...
