Perfect ten

Hi All,
And firstly thanks to Phoenix for a day out. And what a day it was.
After work on Friday afternoon i decided to go for a quick detect and met Phoenix and Wombat.
Detected for a 4 hours and got my record haul for a day- 3 nuggets.
Very small but i dont care about weight its excitement to dig them out.
I was using Minelab4000 with 8'' mono coil.

Well after breaking a record in a day i decided to stay and go for it on Saturday as well.
Weather was perfect-Cool day, no snakes, no spiders but Mozzies were so much in love with me not even my repellent tropical strength spray did not bother them.
Started well and after half an hour got my first little nugget down 5-6 inches.Second and third followed and they were very small and practically on the surface.
Later in afternoon picked up another 4.These nuggets were all deeper at around 5-6 inches.

Well not just that i scored a record 7 nuggets for a day and smashed the record from previous day i got 2 nuggets in one hole (2 bottom one on the picture).
Once i dag out first nugget i filled up the hole ( i was already exited as that was my 4th nugget and and my new record for a day.)
I went over the hole once again just to make sure all is good.Well there was another signal.So dag all soil out and sure enough there was another little nugget.(felt like a golfer with hole in one).
Ended the day for 7 and the weight came to 1.3 grams.Was using 11'' mono all day.
Fantastic day, great company and easy and safe drive home.

I just want to add this for all new starters:
I would not find no one nugget yesterday if i was listening for a sound like when i started detecting.
There was not once very loud signal and i would missed them all.They were all little feint signals and hmm yes or not, let move little bit of the top with the boot and check again.
Tag with someone experienced to show you what you suppose to listen for.

that gold looks brilliant,seeing photos like this helps keep us newbies pumped.
Will make sure to really listen for those faint signals.

Golden great job mate on your 10. You were doing well on Saturday when you called Phoenix and I up on the radio telling us that you were going for your third nugget for the day and that was only an hour after getting there and the both of us had none at that stage in the bag. You were blitzing it in at that stage, and it looked like your Golden Angle was till sitting on your shoulders today as well for another 7. Good on you mate, well done

hey golden.... great story mate. 10 is a perfect score, and i would be happy with that ...... thanks for giving the updates with the txting . i was out trying to find new spots, but only came home with one..... but thats ok,... cheers
