Any One tried expansive mortar to break rocks?
Ive used it many times and havent found a rock yet that it wouldnt break.
Soft rock like sandstone cracked over night hard rock like granite or basalt took 2-3 days to break.
You drill holes from 28mm to 40mm mix the powder with water pour it down the holes and wait for the cracks to start.
I feel that Im a bit of an expert on this stuff so if you have any questions ask me

Hi Canadian John ,
I reckon this might of been the stuff we used to take off the toes on the Swan Decline underground haul road . We used air legs to drill the holes & then inserted this stuff . Next day - due to expansion it had fractured all the rock where it was inserted . Scraped it all away ... result - no more lumps in the floor .
Good stuff & very safe to use .

I seem to recall a product used for concrete demolition based upon this idea.
