Adelaide Hills

Hi guys,

I've only just recently become interested in this hobby and I'm finding it hard to try and find information on areas in South Australia.

I don't have any permits or equipment as yet because I'm not really sure what I'll need.

I've seen that there are goldfields in the hills, ie Echunga, which I live quite close by but from what I've been reading on here it seems pointless to even try there ?

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
