Some reef gold from today.
Found a shedding reef today between some old workings. I spent all day digging 36-40 bits in about a 3 meter area all small and very faint.
The first bit was under a half dug out iron nail and was a very coarse speci so I new I was close. The next was still attached to the reef a bit deeper and took me about half an hour to pinpoint. Then it was on! a bit every few minutes.
5000 all with the 8" mono fine, boost, rx 7, stab 4, v slow.
except 1 speci with the 11" mono.
Cheers Lazy Tom

Re: Some reef gold from today.
Very well done lazy. I hope you get enough out of that reef for a nice little nest egg. You never know. If the reef gets to hard give me a yell and I"ll see if I can get some dynamite ( lol )

very nice lazy Tom, everyones dream to find a reef
or at least a spur coming off a main reef. Hope you'll
get some more gold out of it. Looking forward to some
more photos as you progress.

Lazy Tom,
Those are some awesome specimens. What will you do now, crush it up and pan it out? Good luck, hope there's a lot more where they came from.
