Hi from Neale in Biloela Queensland
Also you can apply for the government subsidy which may get you up to 50% of the purchase price.
Just wanted to add that this wasn’t the company that was selling them, but I just used that site so you can read some information about the phone itself.
Cheers.
stayyerAU.
Hi
Thank you, stayyerAU.
I applied for the government subsidy after I read you’re Post.
I will receive the full Subsidy.
My wife is very happy with me having the Satellite Phone while I am out the back of my 1200ac prospecting, it is remote there.
Regards Neale

Hi Neale from Biloela Queensland
Hi
I received my Satellite Phone a few days ago and it is working great.
I found out about the Government Grant on this post.
The Grant paid for the phone and I have a great phone plan, Prepaid that lasts 2 Years from payment date and you can Text the phone for free over the Internet, so wife can send me texts.
I will feel allot safer when I am out in the Remote back blocks of my property.
I am very happy with this deal.
Regards Neale

Re: PERSONAL BEACONS (PLB & EPIRB) & Sat Phones - Bush Safety
I always take a iridium sat phone pretty much everywhere , also an PLB and HF radio....
Some of my mates are now using these and recon they are great..... lots of fantastic features like internet tracking and outgoing measages.
The cost is pretty attractive and its well worth reading about them on the website etc...
http://au.findmespot.com/en/
The new Spot Connect uses your smartphone as an interface to the satellite.....
some of the features.......
Send messages from virtually anywhere via satellite
Type & Send message (41 character) or Predefined message (120 character) options*
Track Progress on Google Maps™ or SPOT Adventures page*
Integrates with SPOTadventures.com and popular social destinations
Smartphone app for operation and detailed status
On device SOS button for standalone emergency operation
