Re: NF sadie vs commander 8" mono
Though i haven't used an 8" round. i have used the sadie.
I will say it is very sensative on small gold. and i like the small coil as i believe it makes you go more thoroughly over an area.
found bits from 0.14g to 0.8g.

Re: NF sadie vs commander 8" mono
thanks Goldbait for your input.
The smallest bit I found with my commander 8"
was 0,04g.
Would be good if one can try before commit to buy....

Re: NF sadie vs commander 8" mono
In 8 hours of detecting my 8'' paid itself off, smallest solid nugget .08 grams biggest specie 3.8 grams,
It took a little bit for me to adjust to the new retrieve technique as the gold you are picking up is a lot smaller than usual.
with a smaller coil it limits you to the ground you can cover, with it being small it sure makes you check every little nook and cranny
just ask stoppsy how the 8" is or see one of his many videos, at least then you can get an idea of how they preform.

Re: NF sadie vs commander 8" mono
Hi koeh, thanks for your reply,
I got the 8" myself, but I am wondering how
it stacks up against the Sadie 6x8"...
they obviously are both good on fly#@#t
but a depth comparison would be interesting....

Re: NF sadie vs commander 8" mono
i don't think you could make a mistake either way you decide to go. well before i bought the sadie... even before it was known to prospectors, i put a poll up asking people which coil they would perfer... 8" round, 6" round, or 10x5.
the 8" round got the highest votes.
