best coil for w.a
Hi there all,
planing my first trip to w.a kal this year was just wondering for the people that go up there what coil do you perfer to use in w.a. I hear alot on people saying its better to use a momo coil there because there is less junk. What do you think?

Re: best coil for w.a
I can only suggest what other people are using over there: Mostly medium to large Nugget Finder coils (the original light-grey monoloops) and 'larger' Commander coils. I should have some feedback on the newer "NF Advantage" coils in a few months, as a few detectorists I know over there are using them for the first time. Both Elliptical and Round coils are used over there and Monoloops are very popular in this state. Possibly for depth and partially due to slightly less mineralization in large areas.
Other states like Victoria & SA seem to have a preference for Coiltek coils.
Cheers,
Marco
