Gemstones of the NT
Hi Everyone,
Was just wondering if anyone out there would be able to let us know what gemstones can be found within the NT and rough locations? Was just curious as to what else is available besides gold?
Cheers

Re: Gemstones of the NT
Glad I looked at this. Many years ago I read a book written by a woman who spent her whole life in the NT. She was probably born somewhere about 1900 but she stated in the book, when she was a young girl, there was a place in the NT where you could find rubies in the wall of a creek. Could have just been an old ladies "recollections" that are just fantasy, but it was interesting.

Hi Bullet,
You wouldn't happen to know what the name of that book was called?

Re: Gemstones of the NT
G'day buzzdog,
Wish I could remember but it was mid 1980's last time I saw the book. Did some googling last night but couldn't see anything. I vaguely remember her name was Geraldine but her last name and title of the book is gone from my brain.
I'll have to do some more googling and see if I can find it.
