Puzzle mines WA
Hi Big chop
the ifno I have is head 25Km from Leonora turn north to Melrose and Yandi station and 1.5KM in is Tamoola station homestead just off the main track, from here take the North East track which leads to the Puzzle diggings @3.5 km detect between the two main mines and the surrounding country. Not much is known about returns If you take the South East track that runs parralel to the road back to Leonora it will take you to Jasper hill only comment small species were found. wish i was there, if you hit your el dorado save a small piece for me
happy hunting.

Re: puzzle mines what a puzzle?
Hi big chop
The area is covered by St Barbara tennements and their office is at the meuseum +_ 2km south of Leonora.
We,ve been to the area earlier this year with not a lot of success. Area has been flogged, but people are still finding gold. It's close to town and therefore quite popular. I have some information of anomolies in the area. Give me a Pm and I will see what I can do.

Where do you get your info from. As said, I went there, with permission from St Barbara in April this year.

Re: puzzle mines what a puzzle?
Called into St Barbara office at Leonora a few months ago, and there is some paper work to fill in, and you need to be a current member of APLA, and there was about a 2 week wait period while they assessed your application to prospect on the nominated leases.

Re: puzzle mines what a puzzle?
The best way to puzzle is 20km nth of leo, turn left about 1km before the tarmoola turn and follow for about 5k till you hit a quartzy area and mines, there was gold all along the track. It was a good area in it`s day (about 15 years ago!) but not really worth it these days. If ur in leonora there is plenty of better areas

We have a block at mt ross and my mates have M`s all through the stirlings (near puzzle). If you don`t want to detect St Barbara`s blocks without permission, PM me and i give you a map and a permission note, like i said though, it`s not much chop through there these days unless your pushing

Re: puzzle mines what a puzzle?
And st Barbara's DOES give permision to some without APLA. Don`t ring them, go in and see them, ask for Rob and he`ll say yay or neigh. But yes they have cracked down cause Tarmoola fences were being cut, etc.. 300 head of cattle were stolen from Tarmoola which also contributed to the crackdown
