I was wondering if there were ways to detect black sand or fine gold deposit. Could one use a particular type of detector for that purpose?

The whites GMT has the ability to track the black sands which contain the fine gold.

Here's the name of a video on youtube that demonstrates how to do it. He actually does it and then processes some material from the spot he marks out.

"Finding Gold V" he calls himself flagold and all his finding gold vids are good to watch.
