Cecil Drysdale, born 1921 at Euabalong Lake district talks about his childhood and family background; education; Babs Vincent; the founding of Euabalong; Lake Cargelligo and its development; the Aboriginal population; music and dance; singing; the song 'Euabalong Ball'; working with bullock teams; working on Boobaroi Station; working in the mines in Cobar; going to Cooma in 1939; working in a gold mine east of Bredbo; driving engines in Wattle Gully Mine in Victoria; working at Ford Motor Works in Geelong; airforce in Uranquinty; returning to Euabalong; introduction to country music.
