How far from Collie? Empty How far from Collie?

G'day, Here is a question for the locals of WA, How far would it be to the closest decent goldfields from 'Collie'? I am thinking of moving over that way.

I've had a quick look at the maps and I'm hoping that there are closer goldfields than Kal.
Thanks for any advice on the area.

Souhern Cross will be your closest and from there north and east will put you on some good ground!

Yeah, it is a bit in the air and discussion only at this stage, I have sent a resume to a mine thismorning. I know a few people over that way that have been trying to get me over there for a few years now.

I have travelled around the SW coast and just loved the country there, depends on how the kids feel about it all too. I wanted to make sure that a quick detect was not a great distance to travell. Laughing

gday as kudo says prolly southern x. from collie i would guess travelling distance is approx 600 odd kays maybe 700.

How far from Collie? Empty collie to the nuggets

Gday mate, im not that far from Collie myself. If you head out thru Arthur River and then on up thru the wheatbelt (Narrogin, Merredin etc) you will find yourself in the Yilgarn area. Ive heard of some nice Gold found around the Southern Cross, Bullfinch areas in Recent times so its Well worth the Drive IMHO cheers Evan.
