Re: womens day
I miss my caravan G Spike. Will try to get another one day. Good luck in the golden triangle. Might even see you in queensland one day? No stopping you now. You can use what you normally spend in caravan parks for petrol instead.

Re: womens day
HI G-spike,
Welcome to the forum.
Good luck in the Triangle. Are you having a go in the competition at Wedderburn on the weekend?
I lived in Korong Vale and went to the Wedderburn High school for a couple of years and it was where I began my metal detecting for gold.
Was hoping to make it to the comp this year but no such luck. Great couple of days and fun night life.
Cheers,
Adrian SS

Re: womens day
G-Spike,
Hear I am and been trying to get to the Competition for the past 12 years and couldn't because I iz sick.
And there you are, self supporting and with one of the best detectors on the planet just a few kilometers from the comp site and you aint gunna have a go at winning a GPX5000. It is not a search for gold, you search for tokens that have been scattered through the gold field and win a prize depending on what tokens you find.

Re: womens day
Yeah I would love to be there. I won first prize at Dunolly about a hundred years ago now (it seems) But they didn't have 5000s then.

Re: womens day
Hi G-spike
Good luck with your van and detecting
Although i dont find much gold around the Wanyarra area (some do alright) there is a good camping ground there
and is a good base for detecting in the triangle
if your lucky you can get a hot shower at the Tarnagulla football ground
and only a short drive to Dunolly for supplies
again good luck
