Has anyone got a detector for findings one's mojo?
I've caught a dose of the can't be's lately.
I've been out a few times but struggle to get enthused , a few tiddlers sparked me up some.
Hopefully with some cooler weather on its way I'll dig up that MOJO Shocked Laughing Laughing Laughing

Well from past exp I know what it is like to loose The Mojo.
I did not worry too much about it and and let the detecting slide for a few months and went back an old interest completely different to detecting. Astronomy. Dragged out a couple of my scopes, cleaned them up. re aligned the mirrors and started scanning the night sky again, purchased a beaut star tracker and tried my cameras out on this gadget. This kept my interest motor ticking over for a while and regenerated the ole mojo once more..  So that be my advice, fire up an interest that you like that is totally different to detecting........Or take it easy and wait for this stinking hot weather to abate Very Happy

We have 38 Deg C in the shade of the back yard wattle tree today. Okay so maybe that is not all that hot compared to some places in the NT but it is bloody hot enough to keep me inside and Q11

Can't speak for anybody but myself.
Went and got a pacemaker installed, it increased the hart beat by 20 bpm.
Then a dose of B12, still didn't get the old legs moving any faster.
But the will to move them is back, so when cooler weather come around.
I'll be going like the "Energizer Bunny"

Well done moredeep. Had the same issues of finding ones mojo not too long back, but now with the much more comfortable weather on the horizon, it didn't take me long to get my mojo back & back on to the bread crumbs. Regardless of size found, with the price of gold these days, I'll comfortably take the bees boots in way of colour & size. Shocked Q35

Found this little fella in a speci on an old flogged surfaced area.
I poked the little sadie under a tree stump and got a little murmur .
It took a while to find it amongst the crushed quartz. oh well its gold cheers   Laughing

Always take the high road, the wheel rut on the right was over 400mm deep and when covered with water looks meek.
A few tiddlers here and there just to keep my whistle wet V01

The tiddlers have been few and far between with the last 4 outings producing zippo.
Yesterdays effort on the left came in at a whopping .730gms and the others from last week about .3gms cheers
When the going is slow it's always good to catch up on the Zen moments in the bush, a couple of fungi enjoying the sun.

Took the detector for a 2 hour bush walk today, very pleasant indeed.
On the very last dig for the day up popped a little nugget just inches away from an old scrape, that's life I guess?

Nice one moredeep, well done. cheers
The variables involved with metal detecting for gold, can change with each passing day & no one, can comprehend it all. Just when one thinks its all gone, done & dusted, it rears its glint of colour, time & time again. Shocked Laughing

I have had that happen to me a few times over the years, sometimes resulting in a decent find; But on that note, I am sure that there has been times when I have left gold for others as well :-)
And Kons last comment is spot on. There are just so many variables, that's why If I have found gold in a certain area I will do that area many times from different angles, different coils, anything to get that missed bit of yellow.

Cheers.
