Re: New patch
Cheers lads, it's more like rolling washy ridges with certain rounded rock that i have found it in before in other areas like old riverbed.
I'm convinced that if I find this type of ground, I will find the gold. there is no obvious outcrops that i have found yet in the area where the nuggets have been found but there is big quartz's outcrops in other areas where i have had a look but the ground is not the same. i have run only in high yield on the 7000 with the 14 still need general/difficult - normal ect, and then the 19 coil. the 9gm bit was nearly a foot down 5m away from 5 and 6 gm bits at 3 inches its random???

Re: New patch
Yes they were a different breed back then.
Funny really; I think beck to when I used to pan and sluice in the gullies and gorges around Licola and Walhalla and other places. It is difficult to believe that I actually got into those places. Down the sides of a gorge just to get to the creek at the bottom covered in tree ferns while lugging my sluice, pan, Jimmy bar, pick and shovel and stuff. It almost feels like those days never happened, sort of like dream I guess.......Now I am doing well to get down the driveway to put the bloody bins out.

Re: New patch
I guess that be true Joe.
I think that the best times I have spent on this Earth have been out in the bush; Even the time I became lost was actually a good experience because it taught me that my belief that my inbuilt maps and direction finding instincts were not infallible and now my epirb and compass is always in the car....Although not getting a lot of use these days.
If you have an epirb make sure to keep it registered and to keep a fully charged battery fitted.....Easy to forget if you miss the reminder notice.
