R.I.P Barrie Johnson Empty R.I.P Barrie Johnson

For those who knew him, Barrie Johnson, former owner of the gold detecting & detector repair shop in Wedderburn Victoria, passed away on Monday 15th August 2022. He was aged 85 years
Sincere condolences to Family & Friends.
Rest In Peace Barrie.

Unhappy day indeed. You were a great bloke Barrie and you set me on the right track re my early metal detectors eg Sov XS and the GS 15000 and your back up service was excellent.
Wherever you are now mate I hope you are surrounded by the Aussie bush and heaps of nuggets poking out of the ground.

Same here Kon,I picked up my 2100 from him and found a 5g an hour later.He showed me some decent sized gold(Slabs).Great to deal with over the years and sadly missed for sure.

he was a great bloke and very helpful and knowledgeable...bought my second SD2000 from him and found a 15g nugget not long after....
