All,

Very surprised at how well the 6 went against 7. The video compares the Zed in General where both hit the same targets with the Zed probably giving slightly better signals. Not shown, in high yield the 6 was slightly better and as expected the Zed did better in Deep.

As I said on ProspectingOZ (I think (as a Z owner) where the 6000 shines is finding the .05 and smaller nuggets at some depth..

Hopefully aftermarket coil manufacturers can add a little more spice to the equation Pete.

Yes Kon, I have the NF Coil and a 10 inch X Coil, but its hard to beat a 6000 with earphones/headphones and me with a speaker ie WM12 on Flysh.t. ( will try twin speakers and Amp from the WM12 with a lower sensitivity setting).

Wish Coiltek the best of success. Any news on type, size, shape etc? There should soon be more Z-Search coils coming from Nugget Finder for the GPZ 7000 as well.
For us detectorists, the more on offer out there the better.

So would you replace your GPZ 7000 with the GPX 6000 ?
If you are a Pro gold hunter, which of these detectors would be  the better choice for both large deep and small shallow nugs  and why ?

A Pro with strong Back and arm Muscles.....

Just read this:
https://phasetechnical.com.au/minelab-gpx6000-gold-detector-qa/

2 years ago came across a full timer ( would not call himself a pro) still using a 4500 in WA.

The only Pro I know off (have never met him) would be Goldtalk at Lenora and he is probably using a 6000.

So the GPZ 7000 is the way to go if you don't mind the weight and only want one detector.
The GPX 6000 sounds/is great but a second tecta for the big deep nugs might still be needed ?
The 4500 & the 6000 is a good combo.
