Good Start for 2021
Just finished a two week road trip in western NSW and thought I would share. We have two on their L’s and needed to get a lot of driving hours up. I took the family for an outing to Hargraves one day. We did a bit of exploring on the common, although we were a bit limited by a loaded 2wd Tarago. Got the 2300 out and did a bit of detecting and surprisingly enough came up with two nuggets and two species within a few hours. I am glad we were finding gold as the temperature was 34 degrees and we were drinking lots of water. Somehow you don’t feel it so much when the gold is coming. Anyway had a great day out with the family and they were all excited.

Nice background scenery, as well as gold finds AU10OZ, well done. We're expecting 40 or so degrees here in Bendigo come Sunday. Thanks for sharing your adventure/gold finds with us.

Bfloyd, Couldn't imagine living in your conditions, it's ♫In the good old summer time....♫♫ for me.
You're welcome to immigrate mate, get away from the "rat race" and you'll find we're not only a "weird mob" we are friendly.

Thanks for the invite, very much appreciated. Over the years I have entertained doing just that but never have and now with the covid thing not likely to happen.
Here is a couple of pix taken on a placer gold claim at Moores Flat in the Eldorado national forest. There is a fox and cubs in the one pix i surprised. This claim supported a family during the great depression. Moores Flat is in the mother load of central California on the backside of the little blue ball we all live on.
