Gold mining exploration companies.
How much gold is a mining exploration allowed to take out of its exploration tenement?

If it's only an exploration tenement I guess they can only take samples. I would imagine though, they could take as many samples as they want.

In WA as long as the holder of the exploration licence has an approved "Programme of Work" or a "Low Impact Mining Proposal" they can disturb/remove 1500 tonnes...Thats more than 48 million ozs !!

Is that is assuming that you disturb 1500 tons of pure gold ?

1000 tonnes actually, which is quite a lot considering a prospecting lease can only disturb 500 tonnes. If you do create a large disturbance you may be responsible for restoration.
