Areas around Warwick/Stanthorpe

we are planning a trip and are looking for places we can detect/pan and enjoy, hopefully with camping nearby, we already know of Glendon and wre hoping for some new places, anyone know any areas for prospecting/detecting, bush camping and so on, remoteness is of no concern ?????????????????????

Wish we knew someone that had the Gold & Ghosts books,, they sound like an awesome source of info,, oh well ya never know we might meet someone who has em one day on our travels,,
