G'day Joe82

Yes there is some progress, there is a 12x6 being used/tested in far north QLD now, member on here (joe76) has it. Another 12" round is being tested it VIC, inbetween the rain and bad weather down there. And the original 12x6 is being used in NZ on a 4500 and a QED

cheers dave

G'day PhillGold

I am not sure where you heard there is a (17x13 spiral X) as there is no such coil.

The X-Coils for the GPX 4500/5000 are in the trial/testing and the only sizes are a 12" round and a 12x6

If your mixing up the X-Coils that are for the GPZ7000 then they are totally different and they have been getting used for a reasonable while now, and have the following sizes, 10" round, then a 12" round, then a 15" round, then a 17" round, and finally a 17x12 elliptical.

The X-Coils for the GPZ7000 in the above sizes have been used with great results in WA this year by myself and others.

Send me a PM for some more details if you like.

cheers dave

Thanks For the info Dave, that covered all that I need. My friend has a 5000 and is watching closely the sizes and results. Cheers

hi all, happy to say that the 12x6 xcoil has landed on my door and the testing process starts today on first sight the build and structure seems strong and solid not flimsy or slaped together the coil cable seems a little stiff compaired to the satndrd range of coils evo elite ect, I will be going to a highly mineralized area where the 5000 and 7000 grown and fart as the pockets are extremely strong and see how it likes it and how it runs Cool
