Its tough going all round, especially detecting for gold over thrashed crown land these days Aussierat. Like Steve says, it can & usually is, a long time between drinks.

No story Aussierat, just a whole lot scarcer these days to find gold on crown land in Vic. Where you are is a lot more remote. Not to say that most well known gold producing areas in WA aren't thrashed, just so much more remote gold bearing localities to explore.
