New and learning this site

Hi everyone - been wandering this forum - reading and learning alot - finding
i hope new spots and a great read of our Victorian Gold History and i know all
the spots the author noted - i'm amazed they named everything in the mid 1800s
It would have been an interesting era to have lived and not that long ago either

Hi MarcusMelb & welcome to the site mate. Yes I agree this site has a lot to offer. The Goldfields history is so fascinating and will tell you a lot about how the miners and their families lived. Where they found gold and what they were looking for to achieve that goal. Learn from the past, will help you into the future. Just the names of places or site will give you an in-look to their past.
