postie bikes
Hello i am new to this site, i tried detecting last year in the pilbarra and used a quad bike with a lot of difficulty due to the spinifex hummocks, where as am just on the way back with two postie bikes has any one use this type of traveling around up there??

Looks like nobody took the trouble to reply to you . Yes, postie bikes have been used for many years . The postie bikes are built stronger than what you can buy retail . I do not have or
used one .
Fasten a milk crate on the back for your gear . Carry puncture kit , spare tube ? gear to get the tire off the rim , water etc . spare new plug . If you are close to your camp , well you do not need to carry a lot of gear , but if you go 10 kms. or more then you need that sort of gear .
