Jen, looking at that nugget, all the nuggets that we have seen found on or in salt flats have been very clean of any inclusions and very shiny clean. Just what we have seen. Good luck to the finder and is some nice eye candy.

Just because it says in the newspaper roughly where it was found, i don’t believe that part
I mean who would tell the world where they found something like that.

Fellas, does it really matter where it was found by what & by whom? Nuggets of this size are rare & rarely come to light for all to see. I say, good on to the bloke who found it & let us enjoy seeing it.
Cheers Kon.

Not fighting...just setting the record straight....I don't charge for advice. I charge for knowledge and education etc. The twenty odd people a week coming in and pumping us for information at this time of year Lisa and I are happy to take the time...have a cuppa and see if we can help. We are
(and it's only my opinion) extremely generous with our time (to our own detriment). We certainly do not know everything...but we help where we can.
Goldchaser....I didn't say your friend was dumb...re-read it mate.....I said 'dumb enough to show..." point being...showing off a nice piece can easily bring your mate undone....prospecting is a treasure hunt and there are plenty out there that would want to know where it came from...your mate has given away info...and now you have added to it.....as my Dad always say's "loose lips sinks ships" If you are in the Leonora area, you are more than welcome to come in, have a cuppa and see what Lisa and I do, we don't gouge people, we dont stich 'em up... we teach and help people with their prospecting....your welcome anytime.
