We'll I just purchased a 12Evo for my partner as she needed a good all round coil for the 5000 and after reading a lot of good reports and seeing a lot of video's on you tube We used Stoppsy's settings off youtube.(Thanks Paul for your help).
We've been out 3 times in our regular done to death spots and found 6 nuggets for about 2 grams.
I can confirm Tim that they are excellent performing robust coils as you would expect from Nugget Finder and live up to the claims of extra depth and sensitivity on small gold.Time will tell the performance on larger gold.
You probably won't find a better coil for general use and definitely keep your coil.

yep the 12 evo and 5000 are a deadly team even with the 4500 if you cant pull colour then the gold is not there or its you

Sorry Tim but I don't think it is the coil mate. I think it could be you. You need to get out more. This is the only way you will get confidence in your equipment and how it works.
