Doing our bit for the environment
Hi all
Well as prospectors we all do our bit cleaning up the bush
This is just a little bit from this year, as each year we find more junk than gold.
Its really amazing what the bush is still hiding
Oh we had more, forgot to empty our pants pockets, opps, all went into the washing machine
The junk ( pellets ) came out clean
Who else has a pocket full of junk from detecting???

My 38 days cleanup around Leonora
Hi folks! I always try to bring home the trash I find detecting. Exept the big tins and cans that wont fit my trashpocket! Its sad to see new junk like beercans, bottles, batteries, toiletpaper and plastics blowing in the wind. Me as a foreigner would like to get some points, for every trash found, to be used in the visa application so that I can apply for a workvisa or citizenchip in the future!

They look like the tin holder for the old vulcanizing tyre tube patches we use to use.

Re: Doing our bit for the environment
Yes! Thats what people told me when they read the letters... the 2 were also beside a old tire..so they were not detected. Just picked up from the topsoil.peterinaust wrote:boobook wrote:A good collection there Swedes, you should certainly be accumulating points for that lot.

Re: Doing our bit for the environment
Yes, brought back memories when I saw them.....long time since I last had to vulcanise a patch on a tube, used to come in a tin of around 10.
Still have the clamp in a box somewhere in the shed........the things bower birds hang onto......just in case
