Over the 30 years I'v been detecting for gold, I would hate to think, how many of those broad faint mineralised ground sounding type signals, I had swung over & left behind, fully knowing that it couldn't be more than just another pocket of highly mineralised ground hey?

WOW is all i can say. Very nice eye candy and congratulations to the finder and for sharing pictures. Just shows that there is still plenty gold out there. Wombat, thanks for giving us some extra encouragement. Somebody once told me that to detect a football field properly it would take one person nearly 70 years. That is overlapping the swing properly each time so you get max depth which is in middle of coil and not toward edges. Nice nuggets.
