Some from last year
G'day people's
Here are some piece I found in the last few months of 2017.
There are 3 separate trips and a couple more Goldless trips trying to find a few more from where I picked up my PB 12.2 grammer.
The 12 gram piece came from an area which I had driven past a dozen times at least and always thought the ground looked good. So one day I was heading back to camp looking at the good size Quartz wash as I was coming up to the first track where I could turn in. I slammed on the brakes and decided to have a detect. The visible wash was on private property, so I detected a section adjacent to the fence on public land. Considering the area around my car looked good. I geared up and detected straight away. As luck would have it, my first target was a screamer. After a short scratch. There it was staring back at me in the pile
This is the shallow hole the 12 grammer came from.
Note the track behind my car Happy days.
Feeling like I was onto good ground. I filled my hole, covered it so to be unnoticeable. I started swinging again.
Not a foot away I got another target, then another and another. I had stumbled on a old timers camp and there were 1000's of bits of tin. So over a few trips I have tried to find another piece. But it hasn't come to light as of yet.
I did however, find the 1914 Penny. Which gives me an idea of the age of the field.
This 1834 Sixpence was found at an old timers site by my Son. He had his GoFind, but actually dug up some old smashed bottles and saw it in the dirt
There is a lot more I could add. But I have failed 3 time in past months trying to upload this.
so after losings two lots of photos and having to take more (I downloaded a program which minimized patched photos) but it didn't work for me, as I lost all the pics.
Here is what I got
There were more pics in the first attempts.
Cheers,
Lee.

Re: Some from last year
Thanks Tributer,
I'm pretty happy with my PB.
Its always good finding those bigger pieces. Nuggets you can actually feel the weight of and are big enough to find without a detector if ya drop'em
Not off to a good start for 2018 though.
I spent the weekend searching a new area for no gold. Although we did have a great weekend walking through the bush. Its a great area, with very few people

Thanks Dave.
Few and far between. But it's all good fun.
I hope yourself and Veronica have a great season over in the West.
