Off topic - enjoying Spring (Some raptor photos added 25 Nov 2017)
Hi everyone, really enjoy reading all about your finds, not sure when I will be down at the Vic goldfields next but keep them coming.
I am in the midst of a Master of teaching and also working on my photographic business.
Thought you might enjoyed seeing some of my recent photos!

Great pictures and time lapse Ian, the night sky and star trails are awesome and made all the more interesting with different foregrounds - especially natural landscape and old historic structures which add to the curiosity. Thanks for sharing and best wishes wishes for the Masters and Pic Biz.

Another nice one.
What are the two dark lines going off at approx 50 deg to the right from just above the centre of the horizon. seem to be below the cloud layer, don't look like power lines?

Great shots. Is that the Zodiacal Light in the video and at least one of the Still images? It sure looks like it. (Might be city lights, only you will know).
Springtime is looking great right now but I'm dreading the summer heat this year in the goldfields.

Bummer!
I thought it might have been an antimatter exhaust trail left by a fleet of alien war ships.

Hi Nero, yes the Zodiacal light is in the timelapse and two star pictures, it was very prominent earlier this Spring.
Cheers and enjoying your great pics too mate.
