Top going, well done Dave. Looks like a lot of upheaval/volcanic activity has taken place there.

Re: zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Dave, nothing any where near like your display here but did pick up a specie with the 2300. No visible gold. Crushed it, and in a make shift Chinese take-away container used as a pan, could see tiny flakes of AU floating on the water. No doubt the 2300 is super sensitive picking up targets like this.
Makes you wonder how many species get thrown away as "hot rocks?"

Hey Dave, You'll have to work on the "crusher/pulverizer" you mentioned, save time and effort.

Very nice Dave
Love it when the bits & pieces of gold get turned into a yummy gold lump

Excellent result Dave
As Nj said , it gets you thinking of the screaming hot rocks that have been turfed that may have contained gold.

Re: zzzzzzzzzzzzz
I've been thinking about a little ingot lately because of yours and Jen's posts. I don't have enough small gold for such an impressive ingot as yours. I did pan a lot of gold in the 80's and made our wedding rings out of it.
