Some recent finds and a good day today.
This one today under slate at 13" 7.66g.The other ones in the same area. This area had previously been done a few years ago with advantage coils and I thought it may be worthwhile giving it another run with the new coils. All found on the slopes except 1 in the middle of a gully.
The last couple weeks

Nice one Steve, yep the 5k is still a great machine, it done me well in the west, are you using a Evo coil?
Re: Some recent finds and a good day today.
Johnny just using the 14"Elite however the 14x9 Evo has worked well lately too.Been using Enhance with these new coils seems to be a good match.HOBO'S Gold wrote:Nice one Steve, yep the 5k is still a great machine, it done me well in the west, are you using a Evo coil?

Yes the GPX 5000 with the new generation of coils makes an average detectorist like myself a better one
