Not forgotten
Hi every one
I just wanted to add this in for those of you that couldn't get to the Laanecoorie Bash
A tribute for Con ( CostasDee )
At the bash they gave Tribute to Con, for all his help within the prospecting community
& for his help & good work on this forum.
Peter ( mariner3800 ) & Johnny ( hobos gold ) gave the speeches
They were both tearing up..
Also the many of us who knew Con very well
but... they did a great Tribute..
Then the 3 cheers for Con..

Re: Not forgotten
Yes Jen that was the hardest thing I've ever done, to accept an award on behalf of a fallen mates family, I will post a picture of the award as soon as I get home, I will also post pictures when I present this award to Cons family.
Re: Not forgotten
That would be very nice.
As i am sure there are a few members and guests that would like to know.

Re: Not forgotten
Than Jen,
Don''t do a lot of posting these day, but thought your wonderful words deserved my time to respond.
Yes, Like Johnny, it was a bloody hard thing to do, to talk about such a wonderful guy, who had such an impacted everyone he met or corresponded with.
To say he will be missed is an understatement as we all know he was always good for a laugh or some wise knowledge.....
Yes, I teared up during this and I promised myself I would not and then to back it up with Jim's award, again I promised my self I would keep it together but that did not work.
I have made a promise to myself that next year Jim's award is going to be a cheerful presentation with some of Jim's sneaky humor thrown in, so I had better get working on this now???
Johnny, don't forget that Photo as i don't have a copy of that, so it would be great to see it again
Cheers
